My wife is wonderful and amazing, not to mention wonderfully and amazingly beautiful. You see, the difficult part about being married to a photography enthusiast is that he always has a camera and he always wants to take pictures of you. So here’s to my wife the most beautiful and willing model en el mundo.

Recently I had the privilege of tagging along on one of Floresta’s staff trips to Haiti and The Dominican Republic. Floresta, for those of you that do not know, is an amazing non-profit organization that attempts to address the multifaceted needs of impoverished rural communities internationally. Floresta has outreached to many nations world wide including Haiti and the D.R. It’s crazy because many don’t even know where Haiti or the D.R. are located. I honestly couldn’t tell you either, prior to our trip there. Everyone knows and has heard of Cuba, well Haiti and the D.R encompass one large Island just east of Cuba. It is also crazy that one of the poorest nations in the WorId is relatively very close to us. So anyways, to sum up our trip in one word I believe that the only word that can truly captivate my experience there is “Humbling”. It was humbling to see just what we take advantage of everyday that we live in the United States. It was humbling to come back and see more accurately the state of decadence that we live in. It is humbling to see the effects of years of governmental chaos. It was humbling to see the intensity of the problem that Floresta is fighting against. It was humbling to see that we are just a few. It was humbling to realize that all I could really do there on that trip was to take it in, love the people we met, and to attempt to capture the beauty of the people and God’s creation. Here are a few that stir my heart.

A tribute to a good man that I had the privilege of working with. For some reason, we just happened to connect, and he will be missed around the job site.

Well, to those of you that don’t know… our family recently got back from a trip to the heart of Tuscany. It was great, and so was the company. Wife, Sister, David, Brother Noah, Mom Chris, and Dad, I set out on our tuscany extravaganza to spend a little over one week taking in the beauty of the culture and of course the food. Here are some highlight shots.

OK…I don’t have much to say right now, besides that the reason I started this blog was to share pictures, videos and words with those that are important to me and that I don’t get the chance to see much. For those of you that know me, you know that I love designing and creating stuff. If I could have majored in anything in college I would have majored in making cool stuff. Architecture at CAL-POLY was a close second. Designing I feel is part of who I am and when I don’t, I get real antsy and I begin to annoy people. I think the reason that design is so great is that, It takes up all of my mental juices, and it is in those moments that I find the most rest it seems. So, when someone creates something, it is much funner (that should be a word) if they can share it with somebody else. That is what this blog is all about. I Hope and pray that you are blessed by what I may share. Oh and you should know, feedback is welcomed here.
